InMode. One brand, several machines. Read the menu carefully.

InMode

InMode is a device brand, not a single treatment. On Seoul menus the name usually means its radiofrequency platforms: surface RF for tightening, and microneedling RF that delivers energy through fine needles into the skin. Which machine, which tip, and which depth is the whole conversation; the brand name alone tells you almost nothing.

What it is

A platform family. The dermatology side splits in two: surface radiofrequency, where a handpiece heats without breaking skin, and microneedling radiofrequency (Morpheus8 is the name most people arrive with), where fine needles carry the energy into the skin. The lineup also includes procedures that cross out of dermatology entirely; those are outside what we arrange, full stop.

When locals choose it

For the texture-and-tightening column, on a doctor's recommendation. The local questions are the ones from the big-clinics checklist: who holds the handpiece, which machine and tip exactly, and what each line costs. A menu that says only "InMode" has not yet answered anything. The rhythm it joins is on the local maintenance calendar.

The price structure

Itemized locally by machine, tip and shot or pass count, which is what makes quotes comparable. Visitor bundles love the brand name for the same reason menus do: it sounds like one thing and hides three. We book itemized, at the local list price, fee named separately: the local price.

Downtime, plainly

Split by platform. Surface RF sits in the same-day category. Microneedling RF is an early-in-the-trip item: pinpoint marks and redness measured in days, makeup on hold per your clinic's instruction. Clinics run numbing protocols for the needled platforms; what it feels like after that is individual.

Common questions

Is InMode one treatment?
No. It is the brand on the machine. Ask which platform the menu line means; the answer changes the downtime, the price structure, and whether it belongs on a short trip.
Is Morpheus8 the same as InMode?
Morpheus8 is one InMode platform: the microneedling RF one. When a Seoul menu says InMode, ask whether it means that, the surface RF, or something else entirely.
Does it hurt?
The needled platforms come with numbing protocols as standard; sensation past that is individual. The surface platforms are milder. Neither answer replaces your clinic's.
Which InMode fits a five-day trip?
Surface RF fits almost anywhere; microneedling RF belongs in the first days, not the last. The sequencing logic is in our five-day guide, and your clinic's aftercare wins every tie.

This page describes what a treatment is and how locals buy it. It is not medical advice, it promises no outcome, and it names no clinic. Whether any treatment suits you is a question for a doctor who has seen your skin. Last checked: 30 July 2026.
